Two abstract forms: one striding, one at rest.

  • Returns within 14 days of delivery

Movement & Stillness Life is a delicate balance between the urge to move and the need to be still. The "Archetypes" collection translates these existential states into abstract sculptural forms.

  • Style A - The Strider: Defined by its elongated, slender silhouette, this piece defies gravity. It captures the essence of a stride, the beautiful instability of leaving the comfort zone to seek what lies ahead. It represents Momentum.

  • Style B - The Keeper: In contrast, this form is grounded, volumetric, and introspective. The void at its center is not emptiness, but a space for breath and contemplation. It represents Presence.

Together, they form a complete philosophy: One seeks meaning, the other nurtures peace.

Material & Haptic Atmosphere Rejecting the superficiality of high gloss, these pieces celebrate the raw beauty of form.

  • Texture: The finish mimics the granular, tactile quality of sandstone or raw ceramic, grounding the abstract shapes in earthly reality.

  • Aesthetic: The organic contours and matte surface absorb light softly, adding a sense of warmth and history to modern interiors.

Curating The Space

  • The Composition: Display them together to create a conversation between the vertical line and the organic curve. The contrast creates a sophisticated architectural rhythm on any console or shelf.

  • The Solitary Totem: Let Style A stand on a desk to inspire progress. Place Style B on a bedside table to invite rest.

Held and Free

Two forms for two desires

The duality of solid and void reflects our dual human desire to be held and free. It is our nature to prefer surroundings that combine closed, occupied spaces with open volumes, leaving enough room for autonomy and intrigue, movement and stillness. Archetypes gives that pair a shape: the Strider, tall and slender at 13 inches, caught mid-step, and the Keeper, low and rounded at 8 inches, with an open center. Both are resin with a matte, sandstone-like grain, made to stand together on a console or a shelf.

THE ARCHITECT'S INTENT

Manuela Guidarini

Every sculpture at The Soft Minimal is rooted in the vision of Manuela Guidarini (b. 1986, Italy), an Architect and Artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Manuela's work is a profound exploration of the relationship between geometry and mental stillness. Drawing heavily on her design background, her creations are deeply influenced by the interaction of geometrical grids, massing, and the artful balance of light and shadow.

She designs not for mere aesthetic display, but to induce the viewer in a state of calmness and stillness. For Manuela, fine art is the most natural way to communicate emotion and ensure every object we craft serves your emotional well-being and visual order.

Beauty serves well-being.

The essence of Soft Minimal

Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that beauty must serve your well-being. Unlike rigid minimalism, our approach informed by Nordic discipline and Japanese tranquility seeks to amplify warmth and tranquility through restraint.

Every sculpture is crafted not just to look beautiful, but to feel right. We honor the tactile effect of natural materials and the artful balance of light and shadow, ensuring our pieces act as a meditative anchor in your space.
