The Narrative "NordiqueSilhouette" is an exploration of negative space. Drawing inspiration from the abstract contours of Northern European modernism, this piece functions as a sculptural fragment, an architectural whisper that speaks of culture and simplicity. It is not designed to decorate, but to harmonize; blurring the lines between art and object. The organic void within the shape invites light to pass through, creating a living shadow that evolves with the sun.

Material & Haptic Experience The form is organic, possessing a "raw" elegance that celebrates asymmetry. Its surface texture is designed to be touched, evoking the natural irregularity of worn stone or clay. It brings a sense of the "outdoors" inside, grounding the interior with its earthy, sophisticated presence.

Curating Your Space

The Void

What the opening lets through

One of the most powerful forces in design is the void: the empty realms between visible matter vibrate with possibility, and through them light, air, sound and time flow uninterrupted. The space breathes. NordiqueSilhouette is built around one such opening: a small abstract form, 4.33 by 5.91 inches, in black or white, with a matte surface that recalls worn stone. On a shelf between books, daylight passes through its center and leaves a shadow that moves through the day.

THE ARCHITECT'S INTENT

Manuela Guidarini

Every sculpture at The Soft Minimal is rooted in the vision of Manuela Guidarini (b. 1986, Italy), an Architect and Artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Manuela's work is a profound exploration of the relationship between geometry and mental stillness. Drawing heavily on her design background, her creations are deeply influenced by the interaction of geometrical grids, massing, and the artful balance of light and shadow.

She designs not for mere aesthetic display, but to induce the viewer in a state of calmness and stillness. For Manuela, fine art is the most natural way to communicate emotion and ensure every object we craft serves your emotional well-being and visual order.
