A set of three display books: printed hardcover boxes, empty inside, made to be stacked and styled rather than read. Lay them flat and they lift what stands on them: a small sculpture, a bowl, a candle. The covers keep quiet on a shelf: Geometric Art, Studio Céramique, and BAUHAUS, subtitled Classic Shapes 1919-1933. The sizes step down: 26.7 x 17 x 4.2 cm, 10.5 x 6.7 x 1.7 inches, at the base; 21.7 x 15.5 x 3.4 cm, 8.5 x 6.1 x 1.3 inches, on top. Stacked in that order, each cover shows a margin of the one beneath. They are display books, not reading copies.
