Vespers

Vespers is the first lighting piece from The Soft Minimal: a cordless table lamp with a mirror-polished dome set over a bell-shaped body, both finished in the same unbroken gloss. It travels. No cord, no fixed outlet to answer to, just a battery, a touch switch, and a small warm glow you can carry from desk to table to bedside.

At 27 cm tall (10.6 in) and 1.56 kg (3.4 lb), it holds its place on a console or nightstand without asking for much room. The dome and body mirror whatever is around them, so the finish you choose changes character with the light of the room it's in.

A touch switch controls stepless dimming across three light color modes, warm, white and natural, so the same lamp can hold a reading pool, a dinner table, or the last light before sleep. The rechargeable battery runs 3.5 to 4 hours per charge and refills in 3 to 4 hours over Type-C.

Vespers comes with its Type-C cable in the box, which means it lives two ways. Carry it cordless from room to room on the battery, the way it's built to move. Or leave it plugged in, in one place, and run it like an ordinary corded table lamp, with no charge cycle to think about.
